Kia Hits All-Time Sales Record

Earlier this week, Kia Motors America issued its September 2010 sales report, which reveals the fast-growing automaker has hit an all-time quarterly sales record in the US-market. Kia's September sales have grown up 39 percent compared to a year go to 30.071 units.

August 2010 monthly sales record is Kia's second in the past three months and sixth overall in 2010. Record sales during the last couple of months have also helped the brand achieve its best quarterly sales of 97.955 units!

Though details are sparse, we know that Kia's wedge-shaped, battery-powered, 3 seat pop concept will roll onto the stage in Paris any day now. According to Kia, the sub-10 foot long Pop brings, "innovative design chic and dramatic styling to the city car segment." We agree, but you could also say that the Pop adds some fizz to the vehicles that ordinarily fall into the city car class, no?
